My name is FANGCANYU (Jacob), I am a graphic designer based in Guangzhou, China and London, England.

I mainly work with type-based graphic design like typography, editorial design and typeface design. I am proficient in Adobe CS InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator, with a demonstrated ability to take projects from concept to completion. My work also uses techniques such as 3D wood crafting, laser cutting, 3D printing and a range of printing techniques such as letterpress, screen printing and digital foiling. There are also book craft technologies such as book art and different bookbindings.

I am passionate about creating things with a story background. I think design is to visually convey the story to the audience in a reasonable way so that everyone can more easily understand the intention behind it.
